My stay at Eccles Townhouse was incredibly pleasant. The staff were genuinely friendly and attentive, creating a warm atmosphere from the moment I arrived. While the room was a bit small, it was perfectly adequate for my visit and provided a wonderful shower. My only minor issue was navigating the stairs with my luggage since there isn't an elevator.

Rooms

The room was small but comfortable, featuring a large bed and an abundance of tea and coffee. I appreciated the cleanliness and the great shower, though the bathroom was a bit cramped.
Service

The staff were really good, from the warm welcome to the attentive café service. They even offered me tea while I waited for my room to be ready, which I found to be a lovely gesture.
Location

The Townhouse is conveniently located near the city center, making it easy to explore Dublin on foot. However, being on a bustling main street, noise levels could vary, although the double glazing helped mitigate this.
Dining

Breakfast featured a nice variety of cooked options that were delicious and satisfying. I even enjoyed a lovely meal in the café while waiting for my room.
Facilities

The accommodations were kept in immaculate condition, with solid Wi-Fi available. However, the absence of an elevator was a slight inconvenience for lugging suitcases up the stairs.

6.8/10

My stay at Eccles Townhouse was quite comforting, even though there were a couple of minor hiccups. The warmth of the staff was unmatched, making me feel right at home during a tough time. The location is pretty killer, being so close to the city center and hospitals. However, the room felt a bit tired and the TV remote didn’t work perfectly, which was a bit annoying. Overall, I got a cozy experience in a prime spot at a decent price.

I found the room to be warm and inviting, but it did have a slightly tired feel to it. The beds were incredibly comfortable, though, like lying on clouds, which was a plus for sure. Just wish the TV remote had worked better.

The staff were absolute gems! From the moment I walked in, they made me feel welcome and taken care of. Tom and Stephen, in particular, were super kind and eager to help, making a challenging situation a bit easier.

I loved how close Eccles was to everything I needed. Just a short walk to O'Connell Street, and it’s situated near the hospitals, which was perfect for my situation. Plus, it’s right on a main road, making it easy to get around.

I didn’t get to stay for meals, but the breakfast I had was delicious! The atmosphere in the café was lovely, and the food served looked really fresh. I’d love to explore more of the menu next time.
Facilities

The amenities were quite functional, with everything I needed. However, I noticed it could use a bit of updating and maintenance here and there. Still, the little touches like a welcome drink were appreciated.

I had a warm and cozy stay at Eccles Townhouse, which is conveniently located near hospitals and not too far from the city center. The staff were incredibly welcoming, making me feel right at home. However, the room became unexpectedly warm at night, and there was some noise from the busy street outside. Overall, I had a pleasant experience and enjoyed the delicious breakfast each morning.

Rooms

The room was spacious for three people and very clean, but it was quite warm during the evenings, which made it a bit uncomfortable. The old building charm added to the coziness, yet the noise from the road was noticeable.
Service

The service was prompt and friendly, with staff members going out of their way to help. They provided excellent communication, and I truly appreciated their kindness during a challenging time.

Eccles Townhouse is situated on a busy main road, which makes it easily accessible and close to the hospitals. Although it’s a short walk to the city center, the location wasn't as quiet as I would have liked.

The hotel features charming vintage style and was spotlessly clean. I appreciated the housekeeping service and ease of leaving my luggage while I explored.

I stayed here for two nights and have mixed feelings. The location is excellent, close to city attractions with a bus stop right outside, which made exploring easy. However, the noise from the busy road was quite bothersome, and the stairs to my room were a challenge. The staff were friendly and very accommodating, but I felt the overall experience could have been better.

Rooms

My room was tidy and functional with a comfortable bed, but it was incredibly hot despite the radiator being off. The windows also didn't provide much relief from the traffic noise outside.
Service

The service was warm and accommodating. Staff helped with my luggage and allowed for early breakfast and late checkout, making me feel welcomed during my stay.
Location

The location is superb, central to restaurants and attractions with a bus stop just a block away. However, being on a busy street means there's quite a bit of traffic noise.

I had a mixed experience during my stay in Dublin. On one hand, the location was excellent for accessing restaurants and hospitals, and the breakfast was good. On the other hand, my room had several maintenance issues which dampened my experience, including a broken toilet seat and a leaking ceiling. Overall, I felt disappointed, as it was supposed to be a relaxing end to my trip.

The staff seemed overwhelmed and unable to resolve our issues promptly. One couple in my group was relocated to a different hotel due to a lack of room availability, which left us feeling frustrated, especially as we were traveling together.
Location

Eccles Townhouse is located within easy walking distance to many restaurants and right across from a hospital, making it convenient for our needs. The area had a lively atmosphere since it was on a busy street.
Dining

Breakfast was one of the highlights of my stay. The food was fresh and enjoyable, and it was a nice way to start the day, helping to make up for the issues we faced.
Facilities

While the facilities had potential, the maintenance issues really stood out. The building is charming but needs better upkeep to enhance the guest experience.
